Glasgow City Marketing Bureau reports that ninety-five Pre Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) were submitted across five separate lots for the Glasgow City Brand Project, which will focus on the strategic positioning of Glasgow: Scotland with style.
Following an assessment of the PQQs by Glasgow City Marketing Bureau based on ability, technical capacity and economic and financial standing, twenty agencies have been invited to tender for the following five accounts:
1. Advertising, Design, Print & Production. (5 agencies short listed).
2. Advertising Placement & Purchase (5 agencies short listed).
3. The Provision of Free & Promotional Goods (4 agencies short listed).
4. Web Design Services (3 agencies short listed).
5. Monitoring & Evaluation Studies (3 agencies short listed).
Those selected now have until Tuesday, June 28 to submit their proposals. It is anticipated that the presentations will take place during the week commencing July 18.
The Glasgow: Scotland with style brand has been developed with the objective of generating the customers to sustain investments already made in the city region’s visitor and business infrastructure and to attract new customers.
The strategic positioning of the Glasgow Brand project will further develop the brand in key markets via a resourced communications and marketing strategy.
The estimated total value of the overall project is £1.225 million.
