The Convention Bureau with Strathclyde Passenger Transport, arranges the provision of a credit card size travel ticket, which encompasses public transport throughout the city and the West of Scotland. It allows conference delegates to travel on all bus services, overground train services, underground trains, monorail and airport rail link as well as ferry services within an area that encompasses more than 17,000 bedrooms. It has never been easier or cheaper to get around the destination. The conference ticket offers real value for money and can save conference organisers coaching costs.
The tickets are sold in bulk for all conference delegates, and are overprinted with the name and date of the conference. Organisers can build the cost of the ticket into the registration conference costs, and provide the travel ticket with the registration documents prior to the conference. In this way, delegates can take immediate advantage of services, like the journey from Glasgow International airport or Glasgow Prestwick International Airport to the city centre.
Tickets will be accompanied by a free leaflet / map which details the area across the West of Scotland.
